Question
First off welcome to the forum UAE.
Mine has been a great daily driver. I'm coming up on 50K now, with all the mods and punishment it continues to get me back and forth from work in fine fashion.

The SRT8 would be a great choice for a daily driver.
If I had to do it all over again I would have gotten a SRT8. After all the mods I have put into my Daytona R/T it can pull a stock SRT8 but it would have been nice to buy into that level.

I'm more worried about the idiots I drive next too on the way to and from work then electrical damage.
Guess I haven't looked into the possibilities of getting a direct hit from lightening although I almost got lit up on the 7th green up in Oklahoma one time.
Sorry I digressed... back to your question, I’ve had electrical issues in the past with my RAM but those shook out while it was in warranty. Other issues with older cars were taken care of chasing the issue with a multi meter.
I haven't had any electrical issues with my Charger and don't know of others experiencing those type issues that were not self induced. On the flip side you take a chance of getting a lemon when you buy any car.
