Exclamation Need help asap....etc light!!!

Hey, guys. Well, I went to my dealership deal with my ETC flashing in my 2007 3.5L V6 Charger. I told them it happens when I start the car in the morning. The light should show up when you start your car, but it should go away. I start applying pressure on my gas pedal, and my car won't accelerate like it is supposed to. After that, the ETC light starts flashing. I was told to keep the car running until I got to the dealership, but I can't accelerate with the ETC light flashing....I've tried. So I turn off my engine, and then on again and it goes away. The first time I went to the dealership, they told me that I might have just had to update my car's computer cuz they told me that the car didn't show up any trouble codes at the time. They also checked the wiring and other things as well, and still couldn't find anything. Then my car was fine for about a week....then the ETC light showed up again as I started my car in the morning and started applying pressure on the gas pedal. Again, I went to the dealership and told them it showed up again. They then thought that I always have the problem in the morning, so they figured I had a cold start up engine problem. They checked, and couldn't find any trouble codes and it wasn't a cold start up problem. They thought that it now might be a sensor problem or wiring problem...Any suggestions on what it could be would be great....Thanx...

Welcome to the forum DaHotFlip86.

Sorry to hear of the problems. What kind of mods does the car have if any? Has any work been done to the car recently?

Without any CEL codes this is going to be hard to track down. How often do it occure?

As for modifications to the car, I didn't put anything in the car. As for work done, nothing but the common oil change has been done. It occurs when I start up my car in the morning as I am trying to apply pressure on the accelerator. This is the only time it occurs. The guys at the dealership thought it was a cold start up problem, but they still couldn't find any trouble codes. They were going to put a new sensor for the throttle, but they want that to be a last resort issue.

It sounds like you can make it occure every morning and the dealership is on top of it, hopefully they can figure out the issue. If they don't have any other suggestions I would push them to put on the new sensor.
