Question serious charger problems

my little bro has a 06 hemi charger. he has a diablo sport turner,SLP cat back system and a BBK intake the car makes about 400 HP give or take.
He isant easy on the car and stop light stop light he burns the tires like hes on pinks all out... lol

anyway a few weeks ago he broke a factory weld above the sub frame of the car. its the differential mount.... the car WAS under warranty he had a master tec/manager from chrysler look at the car and deem ,it not covered under the warranty because of the performance parts...they dident find the diablo sport tuner but they did find the intake and exhaust and i quote "This car isan't ment for this much horse power" so rather then helpng him out they tryed to BS him into getting a 09 wrangler and quoted him at 3600$ to fix the mount..

him and i have been kicking around ideas basically either to put a challenger subframe and fix the weld or to take a 8 and 3/4 rear and put 4 link under it.. yes more money with a 09 challenger rear or a solid rear but would make it hook up real nice and make it better than it ever was..

I just figured id share and let everyone know about your friendly neighborhood chrysler dealership brown daub...

any comments or suggestions im all ears

The bolt on parts you listed will not effect the warranty. I have to ask, is the car still under the 3yr/36K mile warranty? Since it is an '06 you are right at the limit of the time, but the mileage might be over and all you will have is the powertrain warranty which will not cover the mounts. BTW, there is a written law against this in the car is under the full warranty still. It is posted in many places around the forum. Have to do a search for it. If you can not find it, let me know and I will look.

As for the HP the engine will handle, you are looking at around the 430 HP mark. Many people are running close to this with no problems. Anything more than this and I have heard about engines and trannys starting to act up.

As far as your possible plans for the fix, the only thing that I am against is the Jeep. Why would the dealer want to move him from a car that is fun to drive on the road to a jeep that you will have to drive off the road. Unless you brother likes that. Just confused on why the dealer would go the opposite direction on vehicles.

well he is the second owner and they really hosed him because he has 38K miles..
i would deffantly like to see that written law.. ill take a look for it.
basically there trying to get more money out of him buy pushing him into a 09 rubicon..and that the charger isant "worth fixing".
He mentioned he likes the way they look, but clearly his passion is muscle..
mabe an SRT model..

thank you for your insight

A stock RT puts out roughtly 300 Torque HP to the wheels. A Diablo Tunner, CAI and Catback are going to bump it to around 320+/- in the best case.

I doubt adding a CAI and/or CATback would void the warranty, personally I would fight them on that.
