purchasing a charger
I have to take back one of my comments. I DO KNOW about a HEMI that blew up.. It was the drivers fault though.
She had the engine tuned to almost 550 Hp, took it to the track and blew it on the second run... LOL!!!! That is the only one that know about.

I've got my dealer looking for an 06-08 Inferno Red Charger or 300 with AWD. He's been searching the auctions and elsewhere and that combo is quite hard to come by for some reason. Anyone here have an AWD?
After much consideration I just bought a new Stone White R\T. I am very pleased with the car overall. It rides good, runs great, handles well, and draws lots of attention (mostly because all the Highway Patrol and local law drive Chargers now). My only beef so far is the MyGig audio system. I'm afraid it is a problem just waiting to happen. Right now, it has a CD stuck in the drive that I can't get out. What a pain.
The wife has an 07 Charger RT and loves it. All she had driven for the previous 18 years was Mustangs (6 of them total). One drive with that Hemi and seeing how much more car she could get for the same money was all it took. After we had her's for a year, I bought a Ram with the Hemi too. We love the motor, the performance, and the sound. Mileage, her's has 40k on it and mine has 35k on it. No problems at all with either of them.
We own an SE plus that we have had for about 7-mos. that we bought to replace my Ram that was coming off lease. Car wanders all over the road. Need to get in for alignment check but don't have the time. Dash rattles, tilt-telescopic steering column is funky. A bug can fart next to the body & dent it. The speedo is hard to read. The 3.5L engine is weak considering the fuel mileage it gets in the city. Highway mileage is okay (but only 3-4 mpg more than my Hemi truck got). Threre's more but I'm tired of writing!
