Default 07 charger electrical problems???

I have a 2007 Dodge Charger. For the past month or so the electronic throttle control light and the traction control light keeps coming on occasionally when I start my car. When these lights do come on my charger has little acceleration and will only reach a maximum speed of 45mph. Most times when I restart the car or disconnect the battery and reconnect it it will start back up just fine. Has anyone else had this problem or know of some possible solutions??? I had a new power control module put in about 3 months ago when my car was having a different problem.

Welcome to the forum fordair, love the car... Black on Black.

Have you checked the DTC stored code(s)? If you have Evic you can get the code(s) by doing the key dance:

When the car isn't running
turn the key to the On positon
Turn the key to ACC position
turn the key to the On positon
Turn the key to ACC position
turn the key to the On positon

The codes should display one at a time where the milage normally is until --done-- is displayed.

Thanks!

These numbers showed up on EVIC when i done the key dance, have any idea what they're for? I have had it at the dodge dealer once and they could not figure out the problem, of course when I had it there for them to look at it it only acted up once, which was not enough time for them to diagnose the problem.

Sorry for the late reply. I have never heard of those codes and couldn't find them on any ODB II code chart.

If I see anything I'll post up and let you know.

Good luck with that issue!

Do you think that a TSB 18-031-07 update would do the trick?

I haven't read the TSB but from what I've seen on the forums that TSB applys to the Caliber.
