Transmission Slipping
I have noticed some slippage in the transmission on my 2008 Dodge Charger.
On about four occasions over the last two months, I will come to a stop. When I give the car some gas to go, the car initially doesn't move. After 2-3 seconds, it seems to lurch into drive. It's almost like the car slips into neutral as I come to a stop.
Any ideas what is causing this?

With the information given all I can think of off hand is to check the transmission fluid level. Since it's an 08 is it still under warranty? If so let a dealership service department take a look at it.
Thanks. I had it checked out at a dealership, and the transmission was 2 quarts low. Apparently, the mechanic who changed the fluid and filter last time did not put in enough fluid (the mechanic at the dealership said nothing was leaking underneath).
