Default Vibration in frone end of 2008 Charger

I have a 2008 Dodge Charger with about 66,000 miles. Recently, I noticed a vibration when I slow down quickly or stop from a high rate of speed (say, 55 miles per hour - give or take). In the last few days, I have also noticed the vibration on the Interstate when I go through a big or sharp curve at 65 or 70 mph.

Would this be the result of a warped rotor?

My first thought was going to say rotor until you put that you also feel it on curves as well. Are you applying the break into these turns or are you gassing through them?

I'm not braking through the turns (I've noticed it on the Interstate and four-lane divided highways). I'm either maintaining speed, or accelerating a little bit.

This could be several things: rotor, sticking caliper, uneven pad wear or tires.

Cheap troubleshooting:

Get the car on a lift at your favorite shop for a few minutes, observe the wheel rotation manually and if they moves left & right as it rotates then it’s the tire.

Resurfaced the rotors.

Thanks. I had the rotors turned, but that only helped marginally.

Rotate your tires and see if the problem stays in the front or moves to the back. Good way to troubleshoot if it is tires.

Thanks. Talk about timing, I had the tires balanced and rotated over the weekend. So far, no vibration in the front (a little in the back, but not what I was experiencing before).

Remember that the rear of the car is lighter and doesn't experience the pressure induced on the turns like the front tires do. Moving a bad tire to the rear is just a temporary fix in my book. So you might want to have the rear tires replaced as a precaution.
