Default Ipod connection and tape deck issue

Hey I just bought a 07 dodge charger SXT and needed help with two things. I have an ipod that I want connected but I don't know if the stock stereo supports it. I've been using the tape deck to play it but now it just flips the sides of the cassette and spits the cassette adapter back out. Can anyone please help me with either issue. thanks!

These have a tape deck? Hmmm, haven't seen one of those in awhile. Is it stock or did someone put an aftermarket deck in?

Every dodge radio that I have seen as the AUX jack in the front. If you have this, get yourself a 2.5 mm adapter cable from Radio Shack or where ever and use that for your ipod.

its a stock stereo. I was shocked too when I saw it had a tape deck. Unfortunalty, it doesn't have a 2.5mm jack cause thats the first thing I checked for on it. At this point i'm stuck using the tape deck.

A Cassette player is definitely not a factory option.
