Dodge Charger The Dodge Charger. The car that made its competitors shiver in the 60's is reborn in 2006 into a sleek sedan that can still send the competition home wimpering, the Dodge Charger.

Default looking at buying a r/t.

Hey, I am a new member and looking at buying a charger r/t, as I live in London UK I only have a choice of two. one is a red 2007 with 32000 miles on it, the other is a silver 2006 with 15000 miles on it. My question is, what are the engines like on these cars would that 17000 mile difference be a big deal. Because I would prefer the red charger? excuse my stupidity I am new to this and I've really wanted a charger for a while, many thanks Jon.

As with any car, it will all come down to the previous owner and how they maintained it.

There could have been a 16 yr old hot rodder trying to smoke the tires all the time in the 16k mile car, then there could have been a middle aged car nut that changed the oil every 1000 miles on the 32k mile car.

The engines are good all around, but my suggestion when buying any used car is to have your own mechanic look at real quick. They will be able to spot repaired body damage and other damage that most people are oblivious to looking for.

Now if you know the owners of both cars, trust both owners, then the miles really aren't going to be that much of a difference. Just continue to maintain the car.

Default charger r/t

Yeah they have both been well maintained, so I'm sure I will go with the red charger. I think it looks awesome in red. Thanks for the advice. Jon
