Im working on my neices 2008 dodge charger with the 2.7l. the problem is when you go to drive the car it will make a wierd noise upon the tranny shifting to 2nd gear. it almost sounds like a seat belt being pulled out. it only lasts a few seconds until it completes the shift and again when it shift to the next gear and thats it until you come to a stop and begin again from 1st gear. Im thinking it may be a broken or worn transmission mount.any help would be appreciated. it has i believe a 3 or 4 speed automatic tranny

 

Mine just started doing the same thing over the last few days. It whines right as you shift from 1st to 2nd, but no slipping or difficulty changing gears and no noise any other time. What was the diagnosis on your vehicle?
