Cool 2008 Charger SE trunk problems

Recently my trunk release stopped working, both the in car button and the remote. I can't find a fuse location for this in the owners manual. Any ideas or help would be appreciated.

First question, do you hear the release mechanism trip from either button pushed? Stand near the trunk and listen.

Open the trunk with ur key, On the right side of the truck to the Car's body, U see rubber hose insulation that wraps up bunch of wires. It flex when you open and close the trunk. Pull that rubber house off, and I gurantee u will find broken wires in there.

Because all the wires are tangled together, it might be a little hard to see. Just Pull on each wire individually on both end of the rubber insulation.

Default trunk open

Thanks for the resolve. I did exactly what you said and found my broken wire. Before I looked on this site I called the dealer and he said there is no fuse and it was prob. a computer problem, so bring it in!!! NOT. tks
