Wife wants a charger! (Just got the Charger!)
I think i just made a very regretable mistake. About 2 weeks ago my wife's lease was up and it was time to choose a new vehicle. This time we decided to purchase/finance a vehicle due to the incentives. We ended up driving away with a very nice Chrysler Pacifica Touring Edition All Wheel Drive pretty loaded down. This was right before the Chargers hit the lots and all the media hype kicked in. Now she tells me she wants a CHARGER! No offense to Chrysler but the Charger is just a little more exciting to drive. I figure that a RT with a few options runs as much as the Pacifica we purchased. I know we'll probably take a big loss on a trade. Anybody have an idea how we can get into one of these new Chargers?

the same situation happened with me and my RT....i bought it, and there were rumors of a "fast turbocharged neon coming out, but no idea exactly when it would hit showrooms" i was actually planning on getting an SXT neon, but i got the stratus instead.

I kind of wished I had waited for the Charger too but I bought a Magnum RT a few months ago. Don't get me wrong, the magnum is cool too, I just kind of like the Charger better, especially if they make the Daytona in lime green some time soon. My plan is to just go ahead and put some quality miles on the magnum, get 25k miles or so and then trade / sell it. No use getting out of a vehicle with a fresh warranty and fresh tires, brakes etc.

Well, we did it! After hours of scouring the net for dealer inventories etc and countless calls and several visits to some local Dodge dealers we finally made a deal we could live with to get our Black Charger R/T. Thanks to the selling dealer who exhibited great patience and allowed this process to be much less painful (financially) than I anticipated. Now let the fun begin!!!

Sounds like you've got a keeper!!
