Looking for advice.
Just put a cold intake on my 06 3.5l v6 charger.
Looking to do some more stuff, more interested in mpg then anything, Moving to Cali in 2 months to go to school have a lil bit of money now so i wanna spend it now to help me save over the next 4 years and make every tank last as long as possible, without losing alot of horse power.
Out of my Charger i want to get pretty good gas milage, but i also want it to sound good when i push on the gas. Not really that interested in going fast insurance at 20 is pretty expensive dont need any more tickets.

The Fuel Economy is not that great on Charger to begin with. It is a very heavy car for a sedan. Fuel Economy would be Best as it is from the Factory, just need to drive like a granny.
Only thing I can think of is Keep the car well Maintained, and Inflate ur tires to like 40PSI.
If you need tires, look for Low Rolling Resistance tires.

I with the tires comment. That is really the only thing that can be monitored on trhe charger for mpg's. As far as which ones, it doesn't really matter because you really aren't saving all that much money when you look at what you pay for a better tire.
Be careful with what you do as far as sound if you moving to cali. They are really strict when it comes to sound and emissions. Since you are living there for school, and you get pulled over, they will force you to get you car registered in the state and then your car will have to pass all their laws.

You can get an upgrade in exhaust. Take it to a respectable shop who has done work on other Chargers and they will know what works and what doesn't. As far as gas milage goes I have gotten as low as 17MPG city with the average for me where I live being 21-22. I usually get around 23-25 in mixed driving and 26-30 on the highway. The faster you go above 70 you will see lower MPG numbers. You can also get the Eco Meter from Auto Meter that will help you alter your driving style to get the best MPG's. I love the combination of power and economy with the size my Charger gives me. My car has 114+K miles on it and it still runs like it is brand new.
