Dodge Charger The Dodge Charger. The car that made its competitors shiver in the 60's is reborn in 2006 into a sleek sedan that can still send the competition home wimpering, the Dodge Charger.

Hey KRZY.BMET,

I found out the name of the guy who designed the Challenger, his name is Ralph Gilles. I can't find is twitter or any thing, but at least we got a name. Just thought I'd let you know. Have a nice day. Later.

Maybe I'm the only one who noticed but that's a 2006 - 2010 charger in the picure.... just sayin'. With that said that it looks bad ***! I love that grill and I think it would look amazing on a 2011/2012.

I think the last gen Charger and the current '12 Charger are the best looking sedans Chrysler has ever made. The 68-70 Chargers were 2 door sport versions of the Polara(even though you could buy a Polara coupe that was a different body style than the Charger). Nowadays the Charger and Polara are hard to find, but back in my high school days, people who built Chargers would swap a lot of parts from Polaras to Chargers. The Charger name is synonymous with sport coupes, because that's what made them Chargers and not a Polara. But if people can get past the name and see the Charger sedan for what it is-the LAST American sport sedan-then you can appreciate the Charger for what it is instead of hating it for what it isn't. I think Chrysler should have used the Polara name for the new Charger, but the Krauts were in charge then and wanted to scavenge a classic name from the past.
