I am considering purchasing a Charger R/T. Is this a good idea or bad? Are there any specific options or packages that are particularly interesting?

 

Yeah, the SRT package is VERY APPEALING!!!!!!!

That was a loaded question. It's more of what you want in the car to YOUR liking. Tell the dealer and it goes in it.

 

I purchased a new 2011 R/T
I special ordered it, and made sure it had every option available, except all-wheel drive. I wanted the rear wheel drive with the sport package. I have to say I love the car. Lots of fun and more toys then I could imagine LOL

 

What are you looking for in a car?
If price and Fuel economy is a priority, try test driving a V6 8-speed trans with paddle shifter, see how it like it. It still won't be as fun as the V8, but it is worth a try.
