Default SXT availability

I've been looking into the Charger for some time now, and I've noticed in my area the SXT's are somewhat scarce. I'm looking for an SXT because I have to drive about 65 miles to work, so fuel economy is a consideration.

Is there any reason why the SXT's seem to be so scarce? The dealers in my area have RT's coming out their ears. My first guess was dealers anticipated people wanting the Hemi, but i'm not so sure now that i've spoke to a few salesfolks.

i don't know where you are at, but here in Detroit at my local dealer they have 2 SE. the r/t's are selling as fast as they get them and SE just sit around. Ive seen 1 sxt pass through that dealership, but at the most 1, so i think they are trying to produce the cheap ones and the expensive ones. by not having middle grade, it is easier to push the better ones. each dealer is different though, and you can always special order one to exactly what you want. just keep looking into it.
