Charger R/T monday
hello all, i am new here but have jumped on the charger bandwagon. monday i will be picking up mu black 2006 rt charger w/ roof
,leather, heated seats, halogen head lamps, and giovanni 22 inch wheels, w yokohama tires. opted against datona edition because
of loud color also opted against navi because i plan to inset an eclipse touchscreen control panel or an icon flat computer in the
din and 2 flip down tvs in the rear. so there will be no need for the navi. got charger w rims for 32500 w 22 inch custom rims. is that
a good deal fellas. also i drove a demo charger that had 22 inch rims and the mopar cai. first the ride was very good with the large
rims and tires, but, the engine seemed very confused. and sloppy at times. I came out of the gas station with the salesman in
with me, i floored it first time, it threw me in the seat and the growl was crazy then somebody cut in front of me. I let off the gas
then switched lanes and floored it again, there was a delay, a thud then acceleration. it did that a few times, so i did not buy that one
plus the fact that this particular dealer wanted 41500 for it wit the rims, nav and dvd system. needless to say i i left that dealer to
go with another, where i drove the stock rt and it ran very good, but noticeably less powerful and noisy. what do you guys think, does
the hemi not like the cai or was something just wrong with this vehicle ?
