I'm calling the dealer here in town to see how much it'd be to do a valve job if that's what it needs.
A compression test will show if you got bad valve.
I am sorry to hear that. Valve Job pretty much means you have to rebuilt to Cylinder head. send it to Machine Shop to replace all Valve guides, seats, valve, etc... You can not just replace the Valve, normally the cause is due to worn valve guide or warp valve seat.

The whole job will be pretty expensive, normall runs up to $1000-$1500 at the dealer, depending on where you live, and if you are good at negotiating with price.
or see if your mechanic friend will do it in his garage for cheaper?
Also, if that's what it need, I recommed a New Water pump and Timing belt in the process, while you have to take it apart anyway.

I have the same problem as yours ( the engine stumble & hesitate )

I got a check engine light

obd2 scanner show that I have p0305 ( Cylinder 5 Misfire )

I change all these with new :

- coil #5

but no use !!??

my friend is a mechanic. he ask me to go in to the next step "warp valve seat "

You run a compression test on that cylinder, if it is low, then it is tear down time.
If the Valve seat is warp, usually the problem is bad valve guide. You need to send the head out to a Machine shop and have them do a complete over haul.
and while you are at it, might as well do your timing belt, water pump, spark plugs, etc...

I should update you all on my car. Finally put in new rocker assembly. The previous one was no good. Well my husband isn't satisfied & after driving it neither am I. No light has come on yet, but the put-put subtle (but def there) funny idle is still present.
We didn't do a lean down test, only a compression test. Should we have? My husband didn't see anything off with the valves. We were told that the bad compression could be due to the bad rocker assembly not allowing the valve to seat properly. I'm about to take the damn car to Dodge and let their guy work on it. My husband hates doing it and obviously it's taking trial and error to properly fix it.

Thanks all for the input and advice. Never had so much frustration with such a newer car.

Ah so still haven't decided if I really want to drop it off with the dealer yet (no warranty, it'd all be out of pocket btw). I drove it for a little bit today. To get gas, the store and back home. No check engine light still. When we've been doing other things in hopes of fixing this, the light came on almost right away. So I'm not sure if I should be optimistic. It's still idling a little put-put like. RPM's look good, just feels funny like a pos car kinda. This is all in park or drive. When I put into neutral it seems to pick up stronger idle and not feel so put-put like. A friend mentioned a vacuum leak or even just idle adjustment?? Could this really be....?

I'd love any input.

Mines with the dealer mechanic now. Been there yesterday and today. Apparently the cylinder head is new (!). It's obvious because there's no staining like the other side. So mechanic is pulling the head and sending it to a machine shop to check it out for cracks or anything. It could still be something simple as a gasket for this, or valve spring (20$) or as bad as the whole motor. Hopefully find out today, most likely Monday though.

Finally the problem is over

They down the both heads out ,send it to Machine and replaced the full gasket ( up & down )

As I advised from (steak59), thanks a alot
I changed the timing belt, water pump , coolant ,thermostat and spark plugs

The check engine light is gone ( P0305 ), fuel eco system is working and engine is returned fully power without stumble or hesitate
