Default Charger Alternator, Which is Which and How Do You Know??

In my 08' Police Packaged Dodge Charger, there is a 160 amp alternator, in which im sure was necessary for all of the accessories the police needed.
The problem i'm having is how do you know what amp the alternator is by looking at the alternator itself?? The only label that I've noticed is a blue and white label that has 805AE. A replacement alternator that I purchased has the same blue and white label, but the numbers are 805AD. The second alternator supposedly came out of a 09' Charger, but both are manufactured by denzo. So, I take it they aren't aftermarket and are OEM alternators.
Does anyone know about any of this info on the alternator, or any knowledge on how i can distinguish a 140amp alt from a 160amp alt by looking at them??

Please advise.
