Default Info on AWD 6 cyl. or hemi and handling in winter weather

New member looking for some info from real world drivers. I am in NJ and have a new job that takes me 40 miles one way, 85-90% of the drive is highway miles. Looking to see how well the AWD truly handles in the snow, ice, slush etc that NJ does get during the winter months. I am tossing the idea up between an AWD Charger and a 1500 but want real people with real reports who own the cars. Coupled with that I am also looking to see what the range difference is between 6 cylinders and the HEMI. I hate relying on test drivers for website and magazines driving it for a few days or so. Thanks
