when i got my fastman tb he said i might have to turn key to on, don't start, push accelerator slowly to the floor taking 10 sec or more, then start and try. maybe that will work for you.

You might consider looking into an aftermarket tune, and do some research on it. Like Diablo Sport Predator. You might want to contact them and see if their tuner can adjust for a bored throttle body, since they can control Throttle response.

A 90mm TB is an overkill matched to a stock 5.7 intake manifold. Unfortunately these fall under the same myth as do CAI systems, false performance gains. If you want to avoid a CMR tune, downgrade to a 85mm.

Yes you'll have a crisper throttle response, however the only potential gains from a bored TB will require additional support mods... Upgraded intake manifold, 6.1 ported, for one, plus as mentioned additional tuning, and however farther your wallet allows from there.

I'm running a 85mm, with stage II heads, and stage II 268 Comp Cam, and bolt-ons all the way back. In theory, with a stock intake manifold, I never noticed much difference swapping the TB, just a louder idle, and crisper throttle response.
