2013 Charger SXT Rally going into limp mode
After 3rd incident and a combined 3 weeks in the shop my car has been diagnosed with a faulty oil pump. Has anyone else seen this?
What happens:
Driving highway speeds 70+ then with no warning car goes into limp mode and solid check engine light comes on.
History:
First shop experience, took to Rockwall Dodge and was told the codes were "ghost" codes that cleared and they could not replicate the failure was forced to take car back. I did open a case with Chrysler and was told by an engineer that I probably bumped the shifter with my purse, since I have paddle shifters and don't keep my purse on top if my steering wheel that answer didn't sit very well with me.
Second shop experience, was told the steering speed censor and was replaced, same dealership Rockwall Dodge.
Third experience, happened less than a month after second. Was told the same answer as the first time and that
I probably didn't know how to drive my car. Not accepting that answer I opened another case with Chrysler and proceeded to throw a fit. Car started again at Rockwall Dodge and after a week they had no clue. I had the car moved to Dallas Dodge and within 2 days they came back with oil pump.

Wow, sorry to hear about your Charger! Was the first dealer the place you bought it from?
I am assuming since you are a women, the first dealer was assuming you did not know how to drive your car, which I think is total BS! Shame on them!
Well, glad you finally got it fixed, and welcome to the forums!
I just got my Charger SE on Spet 19th and it's been awesome, no issues and at about 1065 miles
