Ok guy i need your input my 08 dodge charger engine light came on code P0456 the evap seal leak i took it to aamco they charged me 145 for a smoke test they came back told me it was my plenum gasket they said they reccommend my spark plugs be changed to since they will be working in that area i said fine they charged my 645 (all my money) 3 days later code is back they say theyll do another smoke test they find a cracked plate they said they couldnt find the plate because its discontinued by dodge so they did a repair on the plate and smoothed it out cleared the code 3 days later light is back on for evap seal leak i take it back they do ANOTHER smoke test 23 mins later they call me in the garage show me smoke in another area amd tell me the smoke isnt from the work they did its now coming from the egr hose and valve and needs to be replaced and told me ( the way theese leaks work is they move to the next weakest point which happened to be the egr valve and hose n asked for 340 bucks......what is you guys take on this because it sounds like BS and im thinkin bout contacting the general manager.
