Charger All Wheel Drive System
I have a 2013 Dodge Charger. Currently at dealership. It is making horrible metal on metal grinding noises ...except when the mechanics look at it.
We have All Wheel drive, it snowed I never saw the AWD light flicker on and off but, I have been referring to the EVIC screen that has an AWD screen included. According to the screen ALL Wheel Drive has been stuck on even when the snow melted 7 days ago. He doesn't know what I am talking about so, am I reading the EVIC screen wrong. I looked up in the manual but, there is nothing about that specific screen. The screen I am referring to has a picture of the bottom of the car and says All Wheel Drive next to it. Can someone tell me what the function of the All Wheel Drive EVIC screen is for? Does it ever change as the car goes in and out of ALL Wheel Drive?

We had a vibration that was persistent on ours. Vibrated at low speeds, no issue under full throttle. Changed out the t-case under warranty, still there. Threw more parts at it, still there. Turns out a bolt inside the trans loosened, and was grinding against other parts under part throttle. Maybe this is your issue ?
The worst part was getting the car to act up for the mechanic. The whole ordeal took 6 months, 2 months just for it to act up for the mechanic. Oddly enough, two other cars got diagnosed and fixed quicker because of us. Good luck with yours
