2011 5.7 in a 2006 RT

my mechanic is proposing to place a 2011 5.7 in my 2006 RT.

i understood that the PCM will not interface.

CAN THIS ACTUALLY BE DONE?

ANYONE DONE THIS BEFORE?

CAN ANYONE COMMENT ON THIS?

Totally different engine. What I would do is rebuild the bottom end, then get the heads from the '11 (eagle heads), bolt those on, get an eagle intake, then custom tune it.
