Bought a Crane Cams Valve spring compressor to remove the valve springs on a 06 5.7 Hemi, but they didn't come with any instructions on how to use it.
I assembled it, but I'm not sure where the extra jamb nut is placed. I compressed one of the springs without the jamb nut in place and almost had the spring come flying out. Has anyone used this spring compressor, and if so could you explain where the jamb nut goes? I did call Crane cams and the tech guy was irritated that I would ask him such a dumb question. I've used many valve spring compressors before on conventional heads, but never Hemi heads.
