Exclamation 2011 R/T 5.7 Litre - Headers and exhaust

3 aftermarket mods for 2011 5.7 HEMI Charger
- Corsa Air Intake
- JBA Cat4Ward headers (Short)
- Corsa Extreme Exhaust (Cat Back)

This is the first set of aftermarket mods I am adding to my charger. Just curious as to how difficult the header installation is, if it's a DIY project, or needs to be taken to a shop. I'm no mechanic and haven't really done work to any car I've owned so I'm not too familiar with installing headers.

Also, I've called around and asked shops for pricing and it all seems extremely high for the price. Shops have mentioned the difficulty of the install, like raising the engine, moving parts, 4 hrs labor on each side (8 total hours). I know it's not an easy job, and could be a PITA, but I can't imagine it being THAT difficult. I've looked up installation videos and I have yet to see an engine that needed to be raised to install headers. I know I don't have BBK Short Headers but I do have JBA Short Headers and I feel the instal would be of similar fashion. (Short video below. Not indepth)

If anyone has personal experience, or is familiar with installing headers on a Dodge Charger, please let me know. Advise & tips could be a great help. Plus I'd like to be there for the instal and learn how to add aftermarket products to my vehicles.

What do you hope to gain by installing headers?
