IIRC this is for the steering angle sensor. Typically it is simply out of calibration and all it requires is a calibration procedure; but a Starscan or a trip to the dealer is necessary to perform the procedure...

Here is a list of the possible causes:
VEHICLE DAMAGE
STEERING COLUMN / INTERMEDIATE SHAFT DAMAGE
STEERING WHEEL ALIGNMENT
STEERING ANGLE SENSOR LOOSE
STEERING ANGLE SENSOR IMPROPERLY INSTALLED (WRONG MOUNTING POSITION)
STEERING ANGLE SENSOR
ANTI-LOCK BRAKE MODULE

Either way, a trip to the dealer or shop is in order.
