Default '12 SRT front end on a '08 SE Charger

My wife and I were talking the other day on the way to pick up a pizza when we encountered some trouble...... (15 - 20lbs ground hog)... in the end minor scratches to the bumper and half of the wheel well torn out. (Back story that leads to my issue). We were leaving from the pizza place when an all black '12 SRT Charger pulls up and parks next to us. She says "that looks awesome like that!" and me not realizing my mistake until later says "why don't I just do a front end conversion? you know, put that front end on this? this as it sits stock can run with those big boys up to the governor." She has a 2008 Charger SE with the 3.5L V6 that can run 115 MPH stock. My question to everyone here is, as Jeremy Clarkson would say, How Hard can/could it be? I've read that the 2008 Charger is 74.5" wide and the 2012 is 75" wide so I know I will have to cut and trim a bumper and hood at minimum. any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated! Side note: The car has factory fog lights that I want to keep. I also want to create a center cut-out that has either a clear or smoked lens because I want to add an off-road RDS light bar in the middle of the bumper for added light at night. (We live in the mountains on twisty roads and need as much extra light as we can get. also Wife said no to roof mounted light bar on the car in not so many words. )

Thanks for any and all help!

I have located a new '12 SRT front bumper from a local salvage for $270. The stealerships and local body shops quoted me from $1,100 - $1600 + for the same bumper. Going to work as much overtime as I can next week to get the bumper as soon as possible.

If I can complete this project and make it look like it's factory, how many people on this fourm with an '06 - '10 charger would be interested in this?
