I have a 2006 2.7L Dodge Charger. I have replaced the coils, coil boots, spark plugs and the error code just came back on today. Cylinder 5 'misfire. The car shakes pretty bad when the light is on. Then today the check engine light started blinking. Any other ideas what I should be looking for? The dealer said to replace the gas cap to fix the problem lol that did nothing to help the problem.

 

Stop driving the car. A flashing check engine light is bad. As you know, a serious misfire. Continuing to drive can result in serious engine damage.

 

I am not driving the car, but we cannot find the reason for the misfire. Any ideas?
Everything we try fixes the issue for a day and then it does it again.
