Angry 2013 Charger HID bulb questions

I was able to locate an HID bulb for my car for $80 (dealer wanted $309)
Now the cost to install is $77 each.
Too labor intensive for me.Bumper has to come off etc...

So if these are supposed to last for many years, why are they not covered for the same number of years in a warranty? It's only been 3 years.
(It would have cost $772 total if the dealer bought the bulbs for me)

Any suggestions, short of selling this ridiculously expensive, NOT SO HIGH END, car?

I'm now Questioning not buying a vette. :/

Bumper doesnt have to come off for installation, you can gain access to it through the wheel well by undoing one or two of the little plastic clips that hold the fender lining on.

You could save $150 by doing it yourself, or having someone help you out.

I had a "friend mechanic" with a lift look at it. We had the wheel well open and still couldn't get at it.
Is there a video online somewhere showing someone doing this? I found one, but he has a busted wheel well to begin with, and he broke the black plastic round piece that surrounds the bulb base. So it really wasn't the best way.
