Default 2013 Charger R/T Plus radiator fan issues

Car started to overheat and I shut it down right away. Replaced t-stat. No go. Checked relay/ fuses. No go. Replaced coolant temp
Sensor. No go. New radiator fan put in place and transistor on new fan started to smoke? What am I doing wrong?! I know the issue is the fan not kicking on, but why??

And just now when we started the car to check the fan... The fan wire harness caught fire! Help!!!

Take it to a trusted mechanic before you burn your car to the ground.

You have a positive wire shorting to ground.
