Stock Charger Hellcat breaks 200 mph
On 11/4/17 at the Kennedy Space Center on the Shuttle Landing Facility I drove my stock 2017 Charger Hellcat from a standing start, 2.3 miles to a speed of 200.924. A subsequent run was 201.789. These runs were under the auspices of the sanctioning body IMRA (International Mile Racing Association) [internationalmileracingassociation.com].
These events are put on by Johnny Bohmer Racing (baddgt.com or YouTube or Instagram).
Being the first showroom floor, customer owned Hellcat to break the 200 mph, it validates and greatly exceeds Dodge's 2015 "round d round" test.
Remember mine was 2.3 mile straight line run from a standing start. I am pretty sure this is a World Record...
