Hello,
I have read tons of posts where people seem to have almost the same issue as me. I have a 2007 Charger RT and my issue is that the oil light comes on and the car automatically shuts off while driving, but only sporadically and when it's going slow. My car also turns right back on immediately and acts like nothing happened, until it decides to do it again. Another thing it does is that it jerks badly at times like it wants to shut off, when at a complete stop. Not to mention that there is NO check engine light on whatsoever, therefore mechanics AND the dealerships have not been able to tell me what the issue is. My husband has pretty much replaced almost everything that has been mentioned here, w the exception of this ECM thing. Please help w any other information you may all have. I really love my car and wouldn't want to get another one. Thanks.

anytime a engine stalls; the oil light will come on as the oil pump isn't creating any pressure. A common cause of stalling at idle and decelerating is a dirty throttle plate....try a throttle body clean.
If you have a scan tool...post the fuel trim readings at idle and 2500rpm. This may indicate a vacuum leak or fuel trim problems.
Have a look at the spark plugs. Are they fuel or carbon fouled? if they are due for a service, replace them. Not much needed for tune ups on modern vehicle but spark plugs and throttle body cleaning are still required.
