Im happy owner of 2017 6.4L Charger Daytona and recently I'm getting some high frequency squeak while gently accelerating.

1. Adding just a little of throttle results one time squeak.
2. Keeping throttle pushed - No squeak
3. Going thru curbs, bumps, gravel - No squeak
4. Adding more throttle - No squeak.

On the attached audio every squeak is caused by my release and gentle push of the throttle (its not constant while driving ) Any ideas what that could be?

 

I couldn't open the file.
I notice the 6.4 hemi trucks seem to squeak at idle.. I'm not sure what it is but they all do it from new. maybe someone with a 6.4 in a car can confirm the noise is not typical.

 

It's most likely you active exhaust valve, very common problem. You have 3 options if it is the problem

1. MFER-1 search on internet. Worked great for me.

2. Just deal with it which I could not.

3. Have dealer replace exhaust under warranty and it will end up happening again.
Mine squeaked on the tap of accelerator in forward and reverse.

 

Search active exhaust valve squeak videos on you tube to see if it's the same noise. First one is usually a 2015 white srt challenger
