I was Trying to connect a sound system to my car. After I connected It and went to turn it on my car showed up with a check engine light, service electronic stability control message and the windshield wipers on. I ran a computer and got the UO212 code which is lost communication with steering column control module. Any ideas on how to reset this or a quick fix before I head To the dealership?

 

It everything back to stock and see if it clears up. Then start over make sure you use the proper wiring adapters.

 

I unhooked everything and checked all fuses and everything seems fine

 

Somewhere you tapped in interrupted BUS communication.
