Default Battery size options

Hey there everyone new to the charger world. I got a 06 Charger R/T I acquired from trading a 1995 Ford F-150. It had a over heating issue and I figured that out. Now I am having to replace the bad battery. Is there any other battery size that will fit other than a group 49? Or is that the only size that will work?

There are two specific batteries for the 06 Charger. One is a little larger than the other because it is the police rated battery and it requires a different hold down bracket. Have to use the specific size (Group 49 or H7) for these because they are in the trunk, not under the hood (just in case you hadn't noticed lol). As such, they have to be vented and those batteries have that provision. A healthy stock size battery is more than capable of running the car, unless you are overloading it with noise equipment. Then you will need to look at maybe putting the police battery in and/or upgrading the alternator as well.
