Default 2015 Charger V6 - "park sense circuit open", won't stop or start

Today, we pulled into the driveway with our 2015 Charger Rallye and found that it wouldn't stop running. You can press and hold the button as long as you like, nothing. It also wasn't responding to key fob lock/unlock or trunk buttons.
It was throwing a "park sense circuit open" error. (even after we disabled park sense from the control panel)

We replaced the batteries in both fobs. Nothing.
I pulled the ECM fuse and disconnected the battery to get it to stop.
Now we can't start it or lock/unlock it electronically.
It just tells me to press the brake while pressing the start button, so it sounds like it doesn't know that the brake pedal is down, but it does know that I am in Park.

Do you think that it could be the brake light switch?
