Default XM Radio installed

I did not get the xm from dealer.
I had one installed.
It was the Rody2 its thin design and
color mood change that you can change
from red/green/purple/pink/night blue/sky blue/orange
no wires haging any ware put radio in a hideaway compartment
i utilized the sunglass holder that drops down xm is a perfict fit
had to drill a small hole in the back of the houseing once it is
in the open position ran wires thru. The power plug/cig adapter
is in the center consal hole was drilled from bottom and adapter is
pluged in the cig plug inside a nice hide away. and a good clean look.
I will try to put up pics so if anyone whants to do it the will know how it would look
You can put or hide electronics/NOS switch up there hint hint

How do you like the sound quality of the XM radio? Mine came from the factory with Sirius and I find the sound quality mediocre at best. To me it sounds like a third generation audio compression running at a very low bitrate. Similar in performance to a MP3 file compressed 96 kbit/sec. Both the FM radio and CD have a superior sound quality. Am I just too picky?

I have the same XM unit in my SRT-4. I've found that when you get some RCA's and hook it up to an aftermarket deck it sounds a WORLD better. Using the FM modulator is what kills it.
