I'm interested in getting a Charger. I came across a 2014 5.7 RWD with "police package." The VIN decodes to just "police."

The obvious difference is that the shift is on the column. No biggie.

Are there performance enhancements with the police package over the civilian 5.7?

 

Oil cooler. That's it, and that's not so much performance enhancing as durability enhancing. A Pursuit Charger is basically a physical R/T dressed as a base model. They usually have fatter sway bars too.
