Default Traction Control Light Flashing and Limp Mode

Hello all, i currently have a 2008 Charger R/T AWD with 5 speed transmission. upon startup the car will drive normal until approaching 20-45 mph. once it reaches between those speeds the traction control light begins to flash and the car goes into a sort of limp mode and loses all acceleration and hovers around 2000 RPM. however, when the "ESP off" button is pushed or turning the key while running to disable the system the car runs totally fine with nothing out of the ordinary. after driving like this for about 5 minutes and turning the ESP off and then back on the car begins to run normal as well even with the ESP on. it acts like this while going straight and turning left or right. ive already tried the steering stalk adjustment, replaced the abs module (initially this is what i was told was the issue), inspected wheel speed sensors (getting accurate readings from all 4) as well as the steering angle sensor, and there are no codes for anything minus a radio code. im at a loss and dont know where to go from here.

I realize you posted this about 4 months ago but I had similar problems and discovered that my 07 sxt would go into limp mode if I didn't TURN ON THE HEADLIGHTS immediately after it started. I know it sounds like a crazy wiring issue but I have been driving with my headlights on day and night for the last 50,000 miles and no limp mode. I valet parked recently and didn't mention it to the guy and sure as **** I got the car back in limp mode. Easy just turned the car off and back on with the lights on and all good. I don't like that it does that but have yet to figure it out. I figured it couldn't hurt to tell you since most people, myself included, work on their cars in the daylight and might never stumble upon this. Best of luck!
