I have never used a tuner before, but want to take that step as the first mod to my '18 Charger pursuit 5.7 awd. There's one for sale locally "DiabloSport T1001 Trinity + PCM Swap for Dodge/Chrysler Car 2015+ V8", would this work and would you guys recommend it? I really appreciate it.

Thanks JK for doing a little work for me, ha. I called Rick at Diablo direct this morning and he said the same thing-that tuner is 10 years old and would be a waste of time and money. He did do a good job of selling me the tuner I needed, the i3 Platinum tuner. The only down side of the deal is it doesn't tune the transmission in the 2018 5.7 Pursuit due to awd and 5 speed, which is not available in civilian Chargers, understandable.

I have a shudder in my transmission that I hope the tuner will fix when I disable the MDS. My rationale was that spending $600 on the tuner would be a basic step anyway, also may save me $7k on a new trans that my shop said I needed. It's coming Monday, then I submit my PCM info to Diablo and they send me an unlocked one that works with the tuner. Again, my first experience with a tuner, so I'll keep you guys posted. Thanks in advance for your thoughts and comments.

 

Got the tuner now waiting for the PCM, they said they're waiting for cores to come in, so on back order. Should be sent out this week.
