Fresh lifter tap
Hi everybody,
I recently bought a 2014 dodge charger that had lifter tap, i replaced the cam and lifters with oem aswell as replacing the timing chain along with the oil pump. After putting it all back together it would not run which turned out to be the pushrods not being seated correctly. After redoing all pushrods it started up perfect, tapped for a bit and the tap slowly faded away as the fresh lifters pumped up, however about a day later the tap returned and is just as loud as before. Oil pressure is fine and the rockers all felt fairly solid. Could this be a bent pushrod or worn rockers? What else could it be?
