Hey everybody,

I'm looking it getting an 2006 Daytona in Go ManGo. I still havn't pulled the trigger yet, but I'm leaning closer everyday.

If you could change one thing on your Charger, what would it be?

Please give me your thoughts.

I would change out the transmission for one that does not make loud whining noises/has improved shifting software.

 

Hmmm. My tranny doesn't make any noises - at least not yet :-).

I would like a better, nicer, "richer" interior. The seats are great, but the dash pad, and door panels are kind of cheap.

Other than that, and I can live with that, I love mine.

If I had one thing to change? Well I've changed enough to get rid of the mundane restrictions Dodge put on the unit to protect John Q Public. Intake Exhaust & programming restrictions.. I guess that would be my pet peeve.. I like the others want better shift performance and throttle performance.

Don't misunderstand me ! I am proud of my Charger Daytona RT.. but Dodge is protecting its warrantee by strangling the potential.. $1500 later I have the unit that I thought I bought to begin with.. A Beast !

Could you tell me what those restrictions are and what you did to get past them??

 

dodge has done it now we are hoping this tuner helps out.Biggest thing traction control.

the only thing I'd change is the height of the windshield.

I'm average height (5'10) and if I'm first in line at the stoplight I have to duck my head down to see when it turns green. Annoying.

Other than that I dig the car.
