Dodge Charger The Dodge Charger. The car that made its competitors shiver in the 60's is reborn in 2006 into a sleek sedan that can still send the competition home wimpering, the Dodge Charger.

I just ordered a Black SRT-8 Charger and am looking forward to learning about it from all of you. I am supposed to get it in April and am looking forward to it. Any info or advice from you folks would be much appreciated.

Welcome. I'm relatively new myself here, but I've had nothing but the best experience since I've gotten here. If there's anything specific you want to know, just ask away and I'm sure, in time, someone will come up with the answer you're looking for.

Welcome aboard our board!

I have a black Charger SRT-8 of my own, and I can tell you that you are going to have a blast with it! These cars are very well built, and I have had only a few minor issues with mine. Personally, I can't wait until the '06 Mopar Performance Catalog comes out- I'm sure that there will be a heap of goodies coming out for our cars. If you want my advice, go ahead and order the Mopar CAI. You will love the throatier sound and the 10 (aprox.) additional horsies.

Ditto what Dartman69 said. I put the MP CAI on mine, and I love the sound. Of course, mine's just an R/T, so I can't imagine what the "big" one sounds like :-).
