Thinking about a change
I finally test drove a 06' charger today. I have been hesitant being that i just bought my Ram. I was right on the money, I am ready to ditch the Ram and get the charger. 4 doors or not, this RT was the ****. responsive, perfect handling, and best of all FAST!!! Is there any major issues any of you charger owners are having that would steer me away from making this switch. I want to have a good insight on these cars before i get rid of my brand new Ram. Thanks
I would recommend the Charger to anyone.
I have a V6 (SXT) and it's pleanty of power for me now. The R/T has nother 90hp and only a couple hundred pounds more.
Actually, I "accidentally" went into a 270 degree spin trying to flip a u-turn at a stoplight. It was exciting, and reminded me why american HP rocks. I recovered okay, got some glaring evil-eye stares from the old folks in the mini-van. The kid in the Acura was smiling...

Thats a tough choice.
I traded my 03 RAM QC HEMI for the Charger. Sure miss having a truck bed to toss some wood-n-stuff in. I got several 2x6"s 8' in the Charger (w/seats down)... forget about a 4x8' piece o plywood in the Charger.
Love moding this car, but I also liked playing w/the RAM. W/Rear gears comming and once the programers are bugged out the Charger is going to be a fun ride.
The Charger look is right even w/4 doors. I'm comming from a QC also w/4 doors. I got kids and enjoy taking a car load out on the town to pary at night so 4 doors works out just right... IMO.

My wife and I couldn't decide between a new Charger or Ram so we got both, lol!! I make too many trips to Home Depot and Lowe's to not have a truck.

Well I owned one of the first half ton Hemi 2003 Sports delivered in Arizona in January 2003. Sold it because of a divorce (hum think she was jealous of the truck), but ran right out after it was settled an bought a 2004 ST that I tricked out.
Found out that I was going to be a daddy again so I traded her on a 4 door 2005... Hated that decision. The 4 dr is too bleepen heavy and long. Did one hell of a burn out though as 400 HP tried to motivate that big pig. Sunk over ten grand in mods and I lost my AZ on that decision that only lasted 4 months.
But I did manage to grab one of the few GoManGo Daytonas... No matter the price I'm happy with the first car I have owned since graduating high school when I had one of the orginal production 1985 Saleen Mustangs. God what I would have done then to have this Charger.
