Default Steering Tightness

Hey everyone,

I'm thinking of getting a Charger and have a few questions....one of them being:

How tight is the steering on a Charger R/T (without the Road and Track Package) and how much better is it with the extra package?

Thanks!

The R/T performance package is worth the money if you’re not going to mod the suspension, it has a great ride and can take some tight corners as is... stock.

If you plan to add a third party coil-over you probably don't need the R/T performance package.

I installed KW v2 coil-overs on mine. Its adjustable height/dampening is way toooo cool and cornering is so much better than stock. If you after cushy ride get the R/T performance package, if you want more of a performance suspension put KWs (or like) on it and you'll feel the road. I believe Mopar now has a coil-over that's OEMed from KW, check-em out on most Mopar distributor sights.

Actually, I'm getting ready to take mine into the dealer for a few little things, but one is the steering. Sometimes, when I hit a bump, the steering wheel shakes like all get out! I can feel the front shake, almost like an older car with a bad tie rod!
