Default reprogramming door locks

Hi everyone first time here, bought my charger sxt 3.5ho about a month ago
does anyone know how to change the locks from locking after you hit 20kmh? thanks

Welcome! Now, do you have the control "buttons" on the steering wheel. That is part of an option package which includes the on-dash display of different functions, such as "personal preferences" (or something like that). Without that, I don't know how.

Why would you NOT want them to lock? Maybe the dealer can help you with it.

74scamp my reason is i want the option to lock or not, another is its a pain for the rear passengers to get out if its locked, another is you get out of the car go to get something from the back seat, go to open the door and @#$%, the doors locked, small irritating annoyances, my other reason is if you got in an accident, and your hurt-unconsious, how do they get you out if the doors are LOCKED? do they automatically unlock if the airbag goes off? those are my reasons. thanks david

David, sorry if I "ticked" you off. Isn't there a "button" on your arm rest to unlock the doors? I understand what you're saying, though. Have you, as I suggested, asked your dealer about it?

sorry 74scamp, didnt mean to offend you, my dealer will do it, but i work 7 days a week, and my dealer is not very convienent to my shop. and its more of a pet peeve about the locks, cheers all, david
