Hey guys i dont know much about chargers hence me asking this:

My dads startin to think about gettin a new car in a few months, and im startin to put some ideas in his head. i keep mentioning the charger, but one thing i dont know that i knw hes eventually gonna ask is do they only come in RWD? or can you get it AWD? thanx.

 

RWD, that's it. But they do have traction control. Ya know, I guess front wheel drive has it's "pros", but what did we all drive BEFORE FWD came on the market? Hmmmm. Guess all we had was RWD. And we did fine with it. The Charger is a wonderful car, whether a person gets a Hemi or the 3.5HO, its a wonderful, fun car to drive. Your father should at least drive one before making his final decision.

 

I'm pretty sure i can get him to test drive one, but hes set on FWD or AWD (i dont know why.... all his other cars have been RWD. right now a crown vic) anyways thanx for the help!!

 

for 07, all but the SRT-8 charger can have awd from what i've heard.

 

AWD is only available in the Magnum SXT or RT or 300 Touring, Limited or 300C. It is not available in the Charger, and I doubt ever will be. The Charger is marketed as a sporty car with RWD performance, AWD takes away from that.
