Hey guys, I own a 2006 Charger R/T, and every time I start the car and turn the air on, the air comes out hot, and then cools. Does this happen to you guys?

Thanx

Hmmm... Have you owned cars with AC before? Until the system pressurizes and starts absorbing heat from the air going through the coils, it can't give you cold air. Every car I have ever owned with AC as well as every house I have ever owned has worked the same to varying degrees.

Put your thermostat to Auto. In the cold it won't start up until the motor is warmed up.. but if you live in an inferno like I do AKA Phoenix you will experience the burst of hot air caused by the dash being cooked by the sun. A sun shade will help a bunch.
